Fixed #8575 -- Catch one particular instance of OperationalError in MySQL and

convert it to an IntegrityError, which seems like the more natural case (and is
consistent with other backends). This makes exception handling in Django much
easier.
The solution is extensible for any other error codes we may wish to add going
forwards.

(e.g. the admin filtering).

Fixed #7289 -- Made ModelForms behave like Forms in the sense that Field

objects don't appear as attributes on the final form instance. They continue to
appear as elements of the form_instance.fields mapping.
If you were relying on ModelForms having fields as attributes, then this will
be slightly backwards incompatible. However, normal template usage will see no
change at all.

* Removed oldforms-admin specific options from `django.db.models.fields.related` classes: `num_in_admin`, `min_num_in_admin`, `max_num_in_admin`, `num_extra_on_change`, and `edit_inline`.
* Serialization framework
* `Serializer.get_string_value` now calls the model fields' renamed `value_to_string` methods.

Fixed #5937 -- When filtering on generic relations, restrict the target objects to those with the right content type.

This isn't a complete solution to this class of problem, but it will do for
1.0, which only has generic relations as a multicolumn type. A more general
multicolumn solution will be available after that release.

Tweaked the admin validation code to make things a bit easier to read. Tracing

through all the underscore-prefixed and wrapped functions was a bit trying and
some of the names were misleading. No functional changes. Primarily, this is
just bringing the style into line with the rest of the codebase.

Fixed #6353 (again) by making force_unicode() and smart_str() a bit more robust

in the face of funky Exception instances. This is slightly symptomatic of
problems in the calling code, but we don't want to raise a secondary exception

Fixed #7201 -- Fixed the timeuntil filter to work correctly with timezone-aware

This is backwards incompatible in the sense that previously, if you tried to
compare timezone-aware and timezone-naive values, you got an incorrect result.
Now you get an empty string. So your previously incorrect code returns a
different incorrect result.

The comments app was unconditionally accessing various settings that didn't

exist in Django's global settings. Changed those accesses to conditional
lookups with default fallbacks.
The comment_test tests now pass without needing to add any extra settings.
