Tim Graham 6e4c6281db Reverted "Fixed #27818 -- Replaced try/except/pass with contextlib.suppress()." 
This reverts commit 550cb3a365
because try/except performs better.

Ryan O’Hara 7c4289d0b9 Fixed #27783 -- Switched VariableDoesNotExist.__str__() to repr() context. 
Using __str__() and then repr'ing the result looks strange and can lead
to recursive rendering of forms.
