This reverts commit 69352d85fa.

Test coverage for async methods was no longer calculated with this
change.

Simon Charette dde2537fbb Fixed #27397 -- Prevented integer overflows on integer field lookups. 
This prevents a sqlite3 crash and address a potential DDoS vector on
PostgreSQL caused by full-table-scans on overflows.

Stefan Brand d77762de03 Refs #34302 -- Fixed SpatialReference.auth_name()/auth_code() when target is None. 
force_bytes() turns None into the byte string b"None". Since
ctypes.c_char_p() also accepts None, we can bypass force_bytes() if
target is None.
